This song was started in about 2007. It started out as an interesting chord progression and melody. The idea for the lyric came from another idea I was working on based on the line 'I saw your face on Easter Island'. It struck me that there have been many love songs, but none that compare the effect on a person to that of a civilization that disappeared. ........
